Company
Dreamsocket is:
- a privately held corporation
- an expert and veteran in broadband media
- a developer of media and entertainment based software
- focused on perfection
- commited to changing the entertainment industry
Just as our name denotes, Dreamsocket was formed on the basis of connecting people with their dreams. Our motto is: "If you can dream it, we can make it". Time after time, the elite of the entertainment industry have turned to us to deliver on that promise. We have consistently gone above and beyond to create software for top companies such as CNN, Adult Swim, Disney, Scripps Networks, and Playstation. With over a decade of this type of quality service, our work has been featured in the New York Times, has been cited across the web, and has won numerous awards.
Dreamsocket's philanthropy pledge:
Dreamsocket was founded with the aid and support of a great number of generous individuals. We have been fortunate enough to have a community like this that has allowed us to thrive and become who we are. We want to provide the same opportunities to others and genuinely make the world a better place. We view our employees, vendors and customers as partners in our dreams. Therefore, we want to offer them the opportunity to participate in our vision of a better future for all humankind. Through our philanthropy program, for every service contract we enter, we will make a donation to a nonprofit charity of our partner's choosing that they feel will make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Team
Kenny Bunch: founder / developer
With 20 years in software and eight in the entertainment industry, Kenny is regarded as an innovator and expert in the field of broadband video. In his role as developer/architect at CNN, Cartoon Network, Bellsouth, and Gametap, he developed some of the most highly trafficked applications in the world. He then went on to form Dreamsocket, where he has continued this innovative work with clients like Disney, Scripps Networks, SonyBMG, Rolling Stone, Nascar, PGA, Motorola, IBM, ING, and a host of others. It is clear that Kenny has one solid focus: change the entertainment industry. Whether speaking at conferences, consulting with clients or developing products, he is making strides at this objective everyday.
Chad Fuller: developer (the machine)
Although he got involved with technology at an early age, Chad is just now taking his first steps in the software development world. After joining Dreamsocket in the spring of 2008 and finishing up his first project, Dreamsocket.com, he proved that he is running and not walking.
Chad has a formal background in software engineering and is interested in a broad range of programming topics from game programming and artificial intelligence to database-driven web apps. He is a dreamer and a player which you can expect big things from. When we aren't beating him down with work, the ladies can find Chad on the golf course, relaxing at the lake, or conducting market research (AKA playing video games).
